SBR LATEX
- SBR Latex is a stabilized emulsion produced through the low-temperature polymerization of butadiene and styrene. The properties and applications of this latex vary based on factors such as styrene content, emulsifier type, and polymerization temperature. Styrene-butadiene latex adhesives exhibit superior heat resistance and aging resistance compared to natural latex adhesives. Even after prolonged aging, they do not become sticky or soften; instead, they harden.
- Excellent cohesive and adhesive strengths
- Good water and solvent resistance
- Excellent heat and wear resistance
- Good batch stability
- Good flexibility after film formation at various temperatures (Tg - 45°C to 50°C).
- Very low concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
